Descendents and Circle Jerks made for a blistering Easter night in Orlando

Easter's all about communion, right? Orlando punks young and old celebrated together in high style at the House of Blues on Sunday night when the Descendents, Circle Jerks and The Attack played.

In accord with the season, Descendents frontman Milo Aukerman momentarily wore Easter Bunny-themed headgear and Circle Jerks' Keith Morris said something to the effect of "I hope everyone is having fun at the House of Blues tonight, like you found all the fucking eggs." Other than that, it was off to the secular races.

Orlando's own The Attack subbed in for the Adolescents at the last minute and went hard, even covering the absent band's classic "Amoeba."

Circle Jerks were tight and powerful, as was frontman Keith Morris' acerbic stage banter and between-songs history lessons on Los Angeles punk.

The Descendents were in top form, blistering and blazing through song after song. Spirits were high on stage too, with Aukerman quipping about Disney (when in Rome!) and even throwing out a heartfelt F.U. to our esteemed governor.
