According to public records obtained by the Orlando Sentinel, the fraternity faces allegations that they hosted underage drinking at a party last spring, engaged in hazing, and that one of its members had sex with someone who was too drunk to consent.
In the documents the victim is described as "severely mentally, physically incapacitated." The sexual assault reportedly occurred at an after-party for the frat's newest members. A photo of the victim was passed around afterward, reports the Sentinel.
The documents also state that pledges were forced to complete exercises while reciting facts about the frat's history, which "pushed them to physical and mental exhaustion.”
As of now, Lambda Theta Phi has been suspended from all school-related activities. UCF officials are investigating the claims, but the UCF Police Department is not involved, since the chapter does not have a house on campus and it's unclear where the incidents occurred.
