A couple of weeks ago, we asked you to weigh in on the city of Orlando’s plan to expand its urban-chicken pilot program. Under the new program, the city would grant permits to 50 residents to raise chickens in their city backyards. Used to be that keeping chickens in the city was illegal but these days, even City Councilwoman Patty Sheehan keeps a few chickens in her yard.
