The Orlando Sentinel has pulled the nationally syndicated “Non Sequitur” cartoon from their paper after readers pointed out that it said “Go fuck yourself, Trump.”

The cartoon, which appeared in Sunday’s paper, showed the image of a bear alongside Leonardo Da Vinci-style drawings, and contained no political messaging other than the little handwritten “Go fuck yourself, Trump” in the bottom right corner.

“When Sentinel editors heard what was done, we decided to stop publishing ‘Non Sequitur.’ Other newspapers in our group, Tribune Publishing, are taking similar action, including the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the Hartford Courant and the Chicago Tribune,” wrote Orlando Sentinel content director for operations John Cutter, who noted that local readers also spotted the message.

Orlando’s parent company, Tribune Publishing, issued a statement Tuesday apologizing for the cartoon, and Julie Anderson, editor-in-chief of the Orlando Sentinel and the Sun Sentinel, called the comic “a breach of trust with our readers.”
