After being closed since Tuesday evening due to Hurricane Milton, MCO announced Thursday afternoon that the airport will partially reopen this evening to receive a few arriving domestic flights. Departures and international flights from the airport will resume Friday.
That said, travelers should check with their airline to verify that their flight is still happening, especially if it’s scheduled for the next few days.
“Airlines will continue to adjust their schedules to better accommodate passengers, so please verify your flight status directly with them,” read a statement on the airport’s social media.
Orlando Sanford International Airport will also resume operations on Friday; but, again, travelers are urged to check in with their airlines to make sure their flight has not been canceled.
