The governor is a scheduled speaker along with other luminaries like Hank Williams Jr., a man who was once canned from ESPN for saying Obama was a Muslim who “hates fishin” and “loves gays,” and, of course, the child king Donald Trump, who will be the first sitting president since Reagan to attend this annual convention.
Rick Scott, a man responsible for hot takes like “the Second Amendment has never shot anybody, evil does this,” currently has an “A” rating from the NRA.
In a twist of hilarious irony, no guns will be allowed at the NRA convention during Trump’s speech because of Secret Service restrictions.
