A new app developed by the Florida Department of Transportation will alert Orlando citizens that a bus does in fact exist.
“People have been furious about transportation in Central Florida for decades, and we wanted to finally address their concerns – on a theoretical level, of course,” said FDOT engineer Miles Proost.
The app, called “Bus?,” has already been released to a select population of Floridians. “Before, I used to always wonder where the bus was, or when it was coming,” said administrative assistant Shelley Bulkowski. “Now I look at the big picture: Does Orlando even have a bus system?”
The app is set to be publicly released next week and will only work on handsets running Windows Mobile.
