Normally, I would be the last person to support a pay raise for politicians. In this case, I’ll make an exception.
It seems that State Representative Bob Allen (R.-Merritt Island) didn’t have anything to do at the office, or oh, I dunno, on behalf of his constituents yesterday, because he decided to spend the afternoon at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Titusville.
There, it seems, he was running a little short of funds, so he offered to blow an undercover cop for $20.
What kind of a government are we running when our own legislators are forced to demean themselves as prostitutes in order to make ends meet?
Get these guys a living wage, stat!
