Mass shootings – like the ones that took place yesterday in San Bernardino, California, and Savannah, Georgia, yesterday – are defined as shootings in which four or more people are killed or injured. The Washington Post reports that there were 355 mass shootings around the country in 2015 – there were 336 in 2014 and 365 in 2013, according to the people who keep the Mass Shooting Tracker website up to date.
