The Greater Haitian American Chamber of Commerce and the office of Orange County Commissioner Victoria Siplin are co-hosting a candlelight vigil for with the people of Haiti in Orlando on Thursday night.

Taking place at Barnett Park’s outdoor stage area at 6 p.m.on Thursday, July 15, the vigil is intended by the hosts as a showing of “solidarity with our home country and the diaspora living abroad.”

The event is free and open to all. The Greater Haitian America Chamber of Commerce has a Facebook event page up with more information.
