In an interview with CNN Wednesday, May 4, Scott claimed that he has absolutely no desire in taking on a vice president role with the likely Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
“I’m going to pass,” he says, “I’m going to do everything I can to make sure he wins. Uh, both for our state, if he wants anything done nationwide, I will do anything I can to make sure he wins. But I’m going to stay in this job and finish this job and have a good partner in the White House.”
Just last week, Scott called on his fellow Republicans to stop trying to get rid of Trump.
