It’s official – SunRail is getting four new stops between Sand Lake Road and Kissimmee. Today U.S. Rep. John Mica announced that full funding of $186 million is in place to expand the rail system south. The four new stops will be located at:
- Meadow Woods in Orange County
- Osceola Parkway (Tupperware station)
- Kissimmee Amtrak (downtown)
- Poinciana
Half of the funding for the project comes from the feds; the other half will be split between local and state governments.
The four new SunRail stops should be in operation by late 2017.
