Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis retracted another 169 appointees that former Gov. Rick Scott made prior to the conclusion of his time in office.

“I am writing to inform you that I have retracted the following appointments that require Senate confirmation,” DeSantis wrote in a memo to Florida Senate President Bill Galvano on Friday. The Senate will reportedly comply.

Included in the retractions are nominations to college boards, trade boards and state commissions.

DeSantis’ decision follows a similar move he made last month, when he retracted 46 of Scott’s appointments – some of whom had been serving in their positions for months prior to DeSantis’ election last year.

That brings the total of Scott appointees pulled to 215, which means DeSantis has blocked every last-minute appointment made by Scott, who was term-limited and was elected to the U.S. Senate in November.

Florida Politics compiled a complete list of retracted appointees.
