The city’s Downtown Development Board said Wednesday that Orlando could soon be building a dog park at Constitution Green, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The city plans to section off the northeast corner of Constitution Green and add a fenced, off-leash play area for Orlando’s furry, four-legged residents.
The park would also include new flowering trees, benches and sidewalks.
The dog run proposal is not a done deal yet, however. The city’s appearance review and municipal planning boards, as well as the City Council, still have to approve of the plans.
If given the all clear, the park could debut as soon as this fall.
