According to Orlando Business Journal, the Creative Village Development Review Committee unanimously approved the massive mixed-use structure, which will house up to 600 students.
The complex will provide UCF and Valencia students with 105,000 square feet of academic support spaces, various restaurants, and storefronts as well as a parking garage northwest of the Livingston Street and Terry Avenue intersection.
Orlando City Council is expected to approve the student housing project in the next couple weeks. Construction is slated for this fall.
Tomorrow morning, May 11, the UCF Downtown Groundbreaking Ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the UCF Center for Emerging Media.
