While touring an affordable housing development in Miami, Carson – along with Public Housing Director Michael Liu and five other damned souls – found himself stuck in an elevator for a solid 20 minutes, reports the Miami Herald.
The $22.8 million housing project was co-developed by former Miami Heat Center Alonzo Mourning, who “apologized profusely” once firefighters freed the former neurosurgeon.
Carson’s visit was part of his “national listening tour.”
The HUD Secretary didn’t seem too upset about the whole ordeal. After all, he did manage to squeeze in a game of foosball.
