Meet Kris!
Kris (A560751) is a 5-year-old dog, healthy and strong, but to us his past remains a mystery. All we know is that Kris came to us looking lost and unsure of what the future would hold. At first, Kris was timid; fearful of new faces, other dogs, cautious about everything. But our staff soon discovered that beneath that nervousness, there was a sweetness. He is kind, gentle and playful once he feels safe. He’s a dog with so much potential for love, but he needs someone to see him for who he truly is.
His quirks? He’s been unwilling to share his space with another dog. He’s not aggressive near them, but he prefers not to interact. Kris would probably do best in a home where he is the only pet. The other thing we noticed is his obsession with toys — in particular, our large red plastic balls. Kris is a sweet soul, just waiting for the right person to see beyond his tough exterior and give him love and security.
