Publix Subs and Florida are almost synonymous

Last week, Buzzfeed focused on Florida again, releasing a post called “13 charts that perfectly describe living in Florida.” And, as with their “Nine things only Floridians will understand,” they got most of it right on the money. Covering Florida inevitabilities like humidity’s terrible effect on our hair, Florida Man jokes, our lack of seasons, our propensity to wear flip-flops EVERYWHERE and more, the charts should help those living outside the Sunshine State to understand what it’s like for us.

You know, they did leave out some other Florida idiosyncrasies: mouse ears all over the place, the horror that is lovebug season, the uniquely creepy sound that accidentally stepping on a lizard makes.
