According to a press release, the dogs appear to be in good health and will soon be evaluated by OCAS clinic staff.
Last night, the shelter took in a whopping 98 dogs, including the 27 aforementioned dogs.
“The shelter is filling up quickly, as many of the shelter kennels have multiple dogs in them,” the release states. “There are currently more than 200 pets residing at Orange County Animal Services.”
Because there is an abundance of animals that have been surrendered by their owners, OCAS is waiving the adoption fee for the month of April.
