We don’t need to tell you; you feel it like a 10-pound weight on your head every time you step outside. Summer is now upon us.
But that’s not all bad. Few things can beat hopping into a pool after a long day in the sun. So, we’ve put together a list of some free (or affordable) public pools in the Orlando area to help you make a splash this summer.
Fort Gatlin Recreation Complex

This pool is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents are required to pay an entry fee of $2 per person or $60 for an annual pass. This price also includes tennis courts and other recreations offered by the facility.

The Dover Shores pool is open Monday to Friday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 to 5 p.m. They also offer swimming lessons, water aerobics and competitive swims. The best part: going to the pool is completely free.
