It has never been a worse time to rent in Orlando. According Rent Cafe, the average price for a one bedroom apartment in the Orlando area is $1,232, which begs the question, why not just live on the beach? If you’re willing to commute to work, you can actually get into an oceanside condo that’s only about an hour away (which is sometimes how long it can take to drive on the I-4 from Altamonte Springs to Disney), with a monthly mortgage rate around $900. All these places are just about an hour away from downtown, as well. Just something to think about, folks.
