According to a report from Central Florida News 13, the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre (formerly the Ford Amphitheatre), located at the Florida State Fairgrounds along I-4 in Tampa, now has a new name.
The outdoor live music venue will now be called Live Nation Amphitheatre, aptly named after the venue’s concert-booking company.
Our Live Nation source also confirmed the name change: “1-800-Ask-Gary’s contract with the amphitheatre ran out at the end of 2012. The music venue’s name has since changed to the Live Nation Amphitheatre. It’s a Live Nation venue. There are like 150 Live Nation amphitheatres across the U.S.”
