Turn up to Volume at Will’s Pub this week to take in local drag, music and DJs

Clearly, we are going to have to lean on this forward-thinking bubble we live in here for at least the next four years or so. Might as well do it right and make it a gay ol’ party (our preferred version of a “GOP”).

To that end, Volume is a new series that celebrates music, dance and queer performance art. This launch, titled “Dance This Mess Around,” is a variety event featuring Earth Fault — the EBM solo project by Circuit Church principal Jared Silvia — and DJs Jas000n and Bretto Rush, and drag performances by the evening’s host and curator Davi Oddity alongside glam comrades Myki Meeks, Amnesia Effect and E.

Even while dark clouds gather around us, it’s still all rainbows up in here.

8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, Will’s Pub, $10-$15.
