This sick trifecta is easily the most thrilling heavy music bill this week. Indiana band Usurp Synapse channel hardcore wrath and push it over the cliff with the headlong abandon of noise rock.

Oh, but Orlando will rep just as hard with the progressive extremity of Gillian Carter and the exhilarating brutality of young supergroup Thrull. It’s a trinity that’ll hit like a smart bomb of force and fury.
