Dedicated to the late Douglas McCarthy of Nitzer Ebb — a friend, collaborator and the greatest industrial vocalist of all time — the just-released Kissing Luck Goodbye is Adult. not simply resurfacing but reasserting themselves as masters of pop severity. As usual, they wield minimalism not as a facet of style but as a weapon. In fact, the new work stomps with fresh kick.
Making it a full night of dancing at the edge of the abyss will be Florida-gone-L.A. art chameleons Donzii and hard Virginia darkwaver The Treasury.
