In response to his controversial and ongoing ICE detainment, benefit shows for the beloved Uncle Lou are sprouting up fast and rightfully furious. This week has two notable ones. The first features homegrown alt-pop sirens Terradame, Alienobserver and Confessedlover. (7 p.m. Saturday, May 23, Drunken Monkey, donations go to Lou’s legal defense fund)

The second features Miami Spanish rockers Viloria, local folk rockers Foxlair and more TBA (8 p.m. Sunday, May 24, Will’s Pub, $10-$25).

More benefit shows are materializing as we speak, so stay tuned and show up for one of the most crucial figures in the Orlando music scene.
