
There’s this involuntary, visceral reaction I have whenever I hear the term “viral sensation,” and it ain’t good. Young South Florida breakouts Rehash, however, are the refreshing exception. Although they blew up on attention-deficit machine TikTok, they’ve shown enough real goods to potentially outlast that most ephemeral of accomplishments.
Rehash take some beloved indie-rock styles and inject them with fresh new breath. It’s a seemingly simple feat, but they do it with a noteworthy degree of verve and instinct. Come catch these rocketing stars. Openers are L.A. emo-math-jazz standouts Mexican Slum Rats.
