Instead of genre, the motif of this Norsekorea showcase is just plain quality music, which is a formula I’ll take over genre affiliation any day. Indie-rock standouts TV Dinner, street punks Sick Dogs and neo-riot grrrls S.M.O.P. are a rock-solid and varied local sampler. And excellent Sacramento psych punks The Snares are the shining, kicking cherry on top. No theme necessary when the acts are this good.
