If Christianity and rock music were already cringe bedfellows, then who’d think that EDM would be the next great hope?
Well, DJ-producer King Topher, for one. After a noted secular music career, he now performs under the not-exactly-earth-inheriting moniker of Rave Jesus. Pretty sure that a wide swath on both sides of the aisle would agree that the matrimony of religion and club culture is anything but holy.
Yet here we are. Creativity, balls or just plain bananas — I dunno. But the wild-ass audacity of this idea alone deserves some credit. So in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, drop … that … bass.
