Mox!e Booking’s latest showcase is both a deserved spotlight for South Carolina egg punks Beer and a fresh sampling of homegrown underground talent. Beer are young champs of punk’s oblique side whose squiggly songs are lo-fi, pogo-ready romps.
The equally left-field native sounds will include the melodic garage punk of Gainesville’s TVA, the twee punk of Orlando’s Über Crunch and the kaleidoscopic punk pop of Orlando’s Fogsmoke. It’s gonna be a weirdo party.
