Nineties alt-rock rampagers Garbage are hitting the road in the U.S. for their first headlining run in a decade on this, the “Happy Endings” tour. And it has a very happy beginning: right here in Orlando.
The Shirley Manson-led dreamgaze band take their latest album, Let All That We Imagine Be the Light, across the country, but we’re hearing it first at the Hard Rock Wednesday.
Now, sadly this will also be a night of lasts as well: as in, the band’s last (?) headline tour stateside. “Let’s just go out and have an amazing time and support our new record and play all the music that everybody loves.
And hopefully we’ll get to do it again, but there’s no guarantees,” Shirley Manson told Flood Magazine. So last chance to scream along to “Stupid Girl” or “#1 Crush” — you’ve been warned.
8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, Hard Rock Live, $71-$307.
