I know a ton of people spent their savings to see Paul McCartney this weekend, but for the thriftier crowd, this weekend also brings with it a ton of free music events that you may not be aware of, so I consider it my civic duty to keep you informed.
Here’s stuff to do just from this weekend alone, including music samples from every artist because I love you, and I don’t want you wasting time if it’s a sound you’re scared of. But I will say that all these bands are really fun and know how to put on a show worthy of your eyes and ears (especially Room Full of Strangers!). Or, I dunno, you could always just be a fuddy-duddy and spin Beatles records all weekend. (Here are some photos of the fun that can be had at the Free Outdoor Stage from last night!)
