Admirably, Rocket Man: A Tribute to Elton John seems to – with a self-conscious wink or not – capture the
coked-up visual and musical overload of classic ’70s Elton.
Two things are certain, approximately 600 piano stools will be kicked over, and new (wait, old?) frontiers in eyewear will be explored.
