A who’s who of local experimental and contemporary classical performers unite tonight for a show to raise funds for the gestating Alterity Chamber Orchestra (alterity.co). The ambitious 15-piece ensemble will be unveiled in late October, with new and familiar faces in the ranks, and a brief to play the best in adventurous classical.
Tonight’s program will include solo sets from Thad Anderson, Luis Guerrero and Natalie Grata, and a duo set from Chris Belt and Beatriz Ramirez.
The fundraiser for the Alterity Chamber Orchestra is tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Art Gallery on Mills Park. Tickets will set you back $21.99, but proceeds go toward the continued development of Alterity.
