Tegan and Sara premiere new video for “Faint of Heart”

Tegan and Sarah just premiered their new music video for “Faint of Heart.” The video features LGBTQ youth doing incredible impersonations of David Bowie, Grace Jones, Prince, Madonna, and even Tegan and Sarah.

The duo told Teen Vogue: “Working with other trans and gender non-conforming folks fills my heart up, and the fact that LGBTQ youth will be able to see possibilities for themselves in this video is so vital.”

Tyler Ford, who appeared as Prince, said of the process, “Being on set with so many LGBTQ folks — especially [filming] the day after the Pulse shooting — was so necessary, nurturing, affirming and healing.”

Tegan and Sarah play the Beacham Theater on Nov. 14.
