Mysterious Brit metal ensemble Sleep Token are laying waste to arenas around the country on tour this summer, and one of the first dates will be in Orlando.
The band’s Even in Arcadia tour opened in Georgia Tuesday before careening straight into Orlando Wednesday. This is the masked and mysterious (think Sauron from Lord of the Rings in terms of dress code) band’s only Florida show. They have a devoted fanbase second only to Juggalos and Dylanologists in obsessive ardor, up to and including dressing like the band and combing through lyrics and visual themes for hidden meanings.
It’s a night for the faithful to commune, and there’s way more of them than you might think.
8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, Kia Center, 400 W. Church St., kiacenter.com, SOLD OUT.
