R.I.P. Phife Dawg (A Tribe Called Quest)

News outlets are reporting this morning that rapper Malik “Phife Dog” Taylor, a member of pioneering hip-hop outfit A Tribe Called Quest, passed away last night. Hip-hop, pop music, call it what you like, has lost an innovator.
