Decades back, Southern gospel, Christian roots, post-hardcore influence and emotion-tugging lyrics came together with the creation of South Carolina’s Emery, and now the band is bringing a special 20-year album anniversary tour right here to Orlando.
The band’s 2005 sophomore record The Question is the star of this tour, which will see support from bands Flake and ‘68.
Emery is known for heavily drawing inspiration from each of the band members’ religious and cultural roots in their music, producing emotional themes and melodies woven into heavier sonic chaos.
The “Emery: 20th Anniversary of The Question“ tour heads to Orlando’s Abbey May 30. It also makes stops in Jacksonville, Fort Pierce and West Palm Beach.
