The Orlando Phil will play an exclusive live-to-picture performance of “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope” at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Oct. 8.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, July 21.
John Williams has been one of the world’s most celebrated film composers for decades, with his work appearing in Saving Private Ryan, Schindler’s List, E.T, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and dozens more. He’s earned four Golden Globe Awards, seven British Academy Film Awards, 22 Grammy Awards, and five Academy Awards, one of which was awarded to Star Wars: A New Hope for Best Original Score.
The Star Wars saga has grown into one of the most iconic film productions of our time, and it all began 40 years ago with Episode IV. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will be bringing this masterpiece to life, so you can experience the film with live music at the Walt Disney Theater. Tickets will start at $49.
