UPDATE: Because of Hurricane Milton’s impact on the Orlando area, this show has been postponed to Nov. 12.

Orlando orchestral folk chanteuse Aoife O’Donovan at last plays a proper Orlando gig — two gigs, in fact.

Yes, the Grammy-winning O’Donovan performs a two-night stand at the Steinmetz this weekend with the Orlando Philharmonic.

O’Donovan will perform selections from her latest album, All My Friends, which was inspired by the women’s suffrage movement, flanked by the orchestra — songs previously only heard live locally during a solo in-store performance at Park Ave CDs.

After, the Orlando Phil will perform Dvorak’s “Symphony No. 8.” It’ll be one to weep at, amid a week of tears.

7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, Steinmetz Hall, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, 445 S. Magnolia Ave., drphillipscenter.org, $20-$130.
