It’s tragic that these kinds of rallies are now necessary but here we are, in an era where immigration enforcement is being handled with authoritarian inhumanity. Thankfully, this is a music scene that doesn’t accept that shit.
Organized by Montgomery Drive and Velvet Crowbar, this “No More ICE” show is a benefit for the crucial Immigrant Legal Resource Center. Performers include East Owls, Nursing., Pangolin, Orange Blossom Trail, Dear Cincinnati, Henry Cron, Please Be Kind and Jupiter Storm/Blaidd.
Adding extra weight and urgency to the affair, Florida House of Representatives member and local hero Anna Eskamani will make a special speaking appearance. More than just a chance to pitch in for the cause, this is a chance to stand for your community with your community.
