In what may be a case of “too little, too late” the classic lineup of horror-punk godfathers the Misfits will reunite for two shows later this year.

Glenn Danzig (vocals), Jerry Only (bass/vocals) and Doyle (guitars) will theoretically bury decades worth of bad blood to share the stage during both the Denver (Sep. 2) and Chicago (Sep 18) Riot Fests.

I love the Misfits, but I think if this reunion had taken place before Glenn Danzig kitty litter memes, Jerry Only and Doyle wrestling in WCW and weirdo merchandising overkill, I would have been way more excited.
