You know how all summer, I’ve been all “yeah, summer is a slow time for shows, but this week is totally okay!”? Well, that sunny optimism runs out this week. This week’s show calendar sucks. Static-X, Stryper, and Warped Tour are the big shows this week. Thankfully, some good stuff is happening on a smaller scale, with a brutal punk show at Will’s on Friday, Flashlights at Back Booth on Wednesday, and, uh, Toadies at House of Blues (?).
