U.K. punk legends The Damned returned to the House of Blues at Disney Springs on a Monday evening, delivering a fantastic and energetic set to a rabid crowd of true believers.
The evening’s lineup of The Damned was the “classic” 1980s lineup of singer Dave Vanian, guitarist Captain Sensible, drummer Rat Scabies, bassist Paul Gray and keyboardist Monty Oxymoron — all in top form. They played all the hits, as well as deep cuts from The Black Album and Strawberries for the true fiends in attendance.
Opening the show was rock & soul group The BellRays, who did a great job of warming up the crowd.
