Usually, the Dining Room offers a limited calendar of shows since it’s a private home space and not a professional venue. But the community-minded art-music haven has been on an impressive tear lately that continues.
Their next event is a showcase featuring the latest adventures of some notable local stars. Moon Rays are the new quartet from composer-bassist Thomas Milovac, one of the most enterprising movers in the city’s jazz and avant-garde scenes right now. Flora Flora is an in-demand polymath who’s one of the leading young lights in the new generation of Orlando experimental music. And of course, Jonas Van den Bossche is the in-house anchor with his capricious guitar explorations.
As always, the show is free but artist support in the form of donations and merch-buying is encouraged.
