Misanthropic folkies Pentagram String Band to play Orlando show at Conduit

Some country bros these days sure think they’re edgelords with their social views. But the misanthropic Pentagram String Band skip all that stupid-ass bad-boy posing and just go straight-up satanic.

This Missouri group’s gothabilly sound is rooted in bluegrass but drips with punk attitude and metal blood. With a lyrical penchant for death, murder and cannibalism, they’re like an unholy merger of Appalachian folk sounds and Norwegian black metal tendencies.
