There probably isn’t a greater or more native way to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month than this special two-show engagement with legendary Latin-jazz icon Giovanni Hidalgo.
In a decorated career spanning over four decades, this brilliant son of Puerto Rico has mastered, furthered and redefined the art of Latin percussion. From work alongside greats like Tito Puente, Dizzy Gillespie, Arturo Sandoval, Carlos Santana, Mickey Hart, D’Angelo and countless others, Hidalgo’s broken boundaries and blazed trails to become one of history’s greatest conga players. It’ll be an evening of eminence, history and intimacy.
