Lynyrd Skynyrd cancels Lakeland show due to illness

Floridian Southern rock godfathers Lynyrd Skynyrd have been forced to cancel their show tomorrow, Nov. 4, at Lakeland’s RP Funding Center (as well as tonight’s show at Tallahassee’s Capital City Amphitheater) due to a medical emergency within the band.

Guitarist and founding member Gary Rossington has been admitted to a Tallahassee ICU to treat an unspecified abdominal illness. Tickets will be refunded.
