Locals Beebs and Her Money Makers will be headlining a pop-up holiday show at Will’s Pub on Friday, Dec. 9, that is doubling as a tribute to the late, great soul singer Sharon Jones.
Besides performances from Beebs and Her Money Makers, and Konglom, Control This! will play as the Dap Kings (Jones’ singular backing ensemble), with Beebs and other local vocalists stepping in to do their best Jones homage. Next door DJ BMF will be playing deep cuts from the Daptones Records’ catalog only. Cover is $10, with some proceeds going to the Lustgarten Foundation.
