Inseparable and unstoppable alternative rock sisters Noemie and Camille Debray are ready to shower fans with cleansing rock.
The SoapGirls began their musical journey as pre-teens singing and selling soap (hence the name) for hospitals in their home of South Africa. Signed on with Universal Records as teens, the showstopping siblings have not slowed down. The duo has toured worldwide, performing on large stages such as the Camden Assembly in Tokyo and the Motoblot Festival in Chicago last year. The unbreakable bond the Debrays share is one of the biggest secrets to the band’s success, creating a safe space for fans to express themselves and create long-lasting connections.
Alongside local dirty-rap icon Luscious Lisa and whimsical punks SWANYX, the SoapGirls are gathering the faithful for a night of anti-conformity and female-led energy.
7 p.m. Thursday, July 2, Conduit, 6700 Aloma Ave., Winter Park, conduitfl.com, $26.91.
